Tech support in Austin, TX

I’ve handled computer tech support, troubleshooting, and network design for a number of clients since 2003, all in Austin, TX. I deal with Windows, Unix, and Mac OS issues on a daily basis.

I enjoy working with these operating systems, and I enjoy working for the people who need help with them - I can communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical people alike. I try to make everything very transparent and honest. I’m happy to explain in any detail you like what I’m doing and why I’m doing it.

Small jobs for home and business

My standard billing rate is $75/hour. Where possible, I do jobs at a flat rate that we negotiate ahead of time. I don’t charge for travel time or mileage unless you’re outside of Austin or its immediate suburbs.

I regularly do jobs like:

• Virus and spyware removal, and future protection. This keeps your information safe from identity theft, and your computer from being used to spread spam or viruses to other machines.
• Backup and restore, and backup policy creation. Backups are vital, and I can find a solution for you that keeps your data safe automatically. I work hard to make your backups as comprehensive and painless as possible.
• System upgrades, purchases, installation, etc. I can recommend vendors, receive equipment, set it up the way you want it (for example, installing software for your business), and drop it on to your network with no fuss on your end.

Large jobs
